Tonight we had a family outing to the mall.  Shaye and I wandered around a little while Kyle ordered our food, which took us to the first floor of the department store (yep, THE...as in: only one).  They already have decorated Christmas trees up and sparkling with baskets of ornaments and ribbons all around.  The next section had tablecloths, candles and other seasonal decor.

Then Kyle called to tell us to come eat, so we headed upstairs.  What did I see as we stepped off the escalator?

Swimsuits. 

I don’t think I will ever get used to that.

Note: Since we live in the southern hemisphere, our seasons are the opposite.  Thus, our summer vacation from school starts right around Christmas and lasts through January and February.  So yes, you would need to buy a swimsuit and Christmas tree at the same time.
