In July, 2003 two silly kids got married.  Thus began this particular Smith family.  Since that day we've graduated from college and lived in five different cities in two countries.  We've lived in nine different homes, birthed two kids (ok that was Larissa), and owned one cat.  We have had good times and bad and are learning to live, and love, through it all.

Currently our path has led us to Arequipa, Peru where we serve as a part of teamAREQUIPA and ICDU.  We moved here with our teammates (Greg and Megan McKinzie, Rachel Steele) back in 2008 and will be here at least through 2013.  This part of our journey has been unlike anything we had experienced and has both challenged us and blessed us.  God has worked in us to increase our passion for His kingdom, while growing our appreciation for the uniqueness of cultures and peoples around the world.  

We aren't sure what comes next.  Even though we have some ideas, there is no telling which way our lives might turn.   It is a wild ride to follow God's leading and take the bumps along the way.

And well worth it.
